Product Description

The QS800/1000/1500 series presses from both top and bottom, so the density gradient through the product thickness is far flatter than with a single-direction press. That is what gives the finished brick its sharp edges, uniform colour and consistent compressive strength, the properties that matter for exposed pavers and architectural blocks.

The machines work pallet-free, so the press line does not need a pallet fleet, a pallet-return loop or the associated labour. Working pressure is 31.5 MPa across the range; moulding area runs from 1,100 × 680 mm on the 800 up to 1,440 × 850 mm on the 1500, and main cylinder bore from Ø500 mm to Ø720 mm.

Why choose double-direction pressing over single-direction?

A single-direction press compacts mostly from the top, so the bottom of the product is less dense than the top. Double-direction pressing compacts from both ends, giving a more uniform product, visibly better on pavers and any product where the face and the strength both matter.

How much power does it need?

70 kW for the QS800, 105.4 kW for the QS1000 and 108.2 kW for the QS1500, at 380 V / 50 Hz three-phase. Tell us your supply (grid or generator) and we will advise on the transformer and starter panel.

Is it really pallet-free?

Yes. Pallets are listed in the table only because some customers still want a pallet-based discharge. In normal operation the pressed product is taken directly by the cubing and handling system, so no pallets circulate in the plant.
