Frequently Asked Questions
Pressing or vibration, which makes a better paver?
For thin, flat, high-strength products, static pressing gives the better result: denser body, sharper arris and less variation piece to piece. For thick, large blocks, vibration-press machines give far higher output per mould. Many paver plants run a press for the face product and a block machine for the rest of the range.
Do I still need pallets if the press is pallet-free?
No. Pallets are only listed in our tables because some customers prefer a pallet-based discharge to a curing rack. In a genuinely pallet-free configuration you never buy pallets at all, which is where a large part of the saving comes from.
