Product Description

The QSPY-16A straps the pack with a head that travels linearly rather than rotating, which suits lines where the pack must stay in line with the conveyor and cannot be turned. Strap arch time is about 15 seconds for a 1.2 m³ pack.

Strap is fed at 3 m/s and tensioned at about 160 mm/s, with a 25 mm sealing joint. The whole unit, including the strap-feed and tension module, weighs only about 800 kg. A light machine that still takes a 380 V three-phase supply at 2 kW.

QSSX-16A or QSPY-16A?

If your conveyor can present the pack and let it be turned, the rotary QSSX-16A gives you more strap patterns. If the pack must stay aligned and you have limited headroom or floor capacity, the translation QSPY-16A is the better fit and much lighter to install.

Can both balers work with PET strap?

Yes, both are specified for PET plastic-steel strap, and PET is the right choice for bricks: it holds tension under load and does not cut the pack the way steel strap can.
